Job Description:

TS Banking group is seeking to hire a Treasury Analyst. This position is responsible for supporting the Asset/Liability Committee (ALCO) and Treasury functions through facilitating interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital modeling. Assigned tasks may vary in nature, but mainly pertain to financial reporting of interest rate risk, liquidity risk, investment risk. and other duties as assigned that assist ALCO and bank-wide analytics.

Preferred education and experience: Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or institution with the major area of study in Accounting, Finance, Econometrics, Statistics or other closely related discipline.

Position Location: Treynor, IA/ Hybrid or Remote

Pay: $50,000- $62,000/yr.

Experience and Skills:

  • Perform interest rate risk analysis (EaR and VaR) and stress testing on TSBG balance sheets.
  • Perform cash flow, liquidity, and capital analysis and stress testing on TSBG balance sheets.
  • Perform reconciliation and analysis of financial data.
  • Extract data from financial reporting databases for input into risk models. Assist in running risk models.
  • Analyze balance sheet risk dynamics such as concentration levels, credit risk trends and performance indicators.
  • Pertinent reporting may cover a broad range of responsibilities such as financial modeling, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Prepare forms, reports, correspondence, memoranda, etc.
  • Ability to perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of company and the general public. Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.
