Job Description:

TS Banking Group is seeking to hire a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing data to create actionable insights for company departments and serves as a liaison in furthering business units' utilization of analytics solutions.

Preferred education and/or experience includes a bachelor's degree. 2+ years' experience in data analysis.

Location: Treynor, IA/ Hybrid

Pay: $54,000 - $68,000/yr. (Pay is dependent upon experience)

Experience and Skills:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Access data warehouse to extract data relevant to analysis
  • Collect data from different systems to centralize operational data
  • Perform data cleansing, data filling, and benchmarking against independent data sources
  • Participate in data migration by mapping a path from the old data system to the new system through the process of data extraction and data loading
  • Conduct basic data reconciliations to ensure accuracy and data integrity
  • Build logical and physical data models to meet data requirements
  • Analyze business requirement to determine and document associated data sourcing, data model and data transformation requirements
  • Validate data flow through implemented data models from source to target
  • Document data quality issues and prioritize the correction in source systems or in the data warehouse
  • Provide input to enterprise architects specializing in information and data on data management decisions, including development and maintenance of the enterprise data model
  • Develop analytical approaches and methodologies that provide insight into business performance.
  • Deliver experimental or prototype reporting to business units by leveraging multiple enterprise business systems and internal business intelligence stack.
  • Work closely with leaders across multiple business units to support high-quality, data-driven decisions and strategic planning
  • Create, optimize, and document procedures for collecting data from external and internal sources.
  • Schedule and execute manual data collections to fulfill reoccurring report and analysis needs.
  • Aid in developing prototype dataflow diagram, report, and dashboard requirements for use by database engineer and business intelligence developers.
  • Provide business analysis to determine best practices and develop actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operations or issues.
  • Work in conjunction with Business Intelligence, Business Process Improvement and Financial Analysis teams.

 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Possess a four-year college degree from an accredited university or institution with the major area of study in business Intelligence, Mathematics or comparable coursework.
