Job Description:

TS Banking Group is seeking to hire a Technology Support Technician. This role is primarily responsible for providing systems operational support, documentation, administration, installation, and maintenance for key company infrastructure.

Education and/or work experience preferred includes: Possess a two-year college degree from an accredited university. or institution. Comparable work experience can be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the formal education requirement.

Location of position: Treynor, IA

Experience and Skills:

  • Provide first level technical service and support to all users
  • Maintain communications with clients during the problem resolution process
  • Provide timely resolution of end user problems
  • Install new software releases, system upgrades and resolve software related problems
  • Provide printing support for all sites
  • Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
  • Document, track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Create, manage, and work helpdesk support tickets
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
  • Maintain and support all aspects of client environments, onsite, and remotely.
  • Provide support to the core banking applications.
  • Provide first level contact and respond to a variety of technical support inquiries. Able to operate in an environment with changing priorities and the need to respond quickly to situations.
  • Provide technical hardware and application support to end user desktops, laptops, tablets, and cell phones.
  • Interface with outside vendors on administration of infrastructure.
  • Document standard procedures.
  • Must be proficient in problem solving techniques and time management skills with strong client service and interpersonal communication skills, well organized, ability to prioritize and meet assigned deadlines.
  • Must possess and maintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude toward clients, employees, vendors, and management.
  • Ability to understand technical issues, tracks the progress of vendor and client inquiries, and work through issues to resolution. Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Hands-on technical experience or working knowledge with some or all of the following: Windows server Windows Desktop, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, iOS, Microsoft Products including SharePoint, Exchange and standard office suite.
  • Participates in after hours, on-call rotation.
  • Banking and/or FDIC regulatory experience a plus.
  • Comply with all company and banking regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of company and the general public. Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.
